The detectives must piece together partial clues to lead them to the murderer of a husband-and-wife team of psychiatrists. Jane finds herself closer to the investigation than she realizes. Also, when the Boston Police Department hosts a seminar for Medical Examiners, one of the attendees, offers to help Jane and Maura on their case. Meanwhile, the Rizzolis have their hands full when they discover there may be a link to a pregnant stranger they've met.
